Twenty years ago if you asked me if I would be working in fitness, I'd look at you as if you had five heads. I went to college for vocal performance and traveled all over the country in my early twenties pursuing music. That was my passion. My dream.
In order to be in tip-top shape while I was performing, fitness became an integral part of my life. I hired a personal trainer to show me the ins-and-outs of the gym -- how to deadlift, squat...you know, the fun stuff.
From there, fitness became more of a focal point. Instead of singing opera on stage, I was posing for judges in body building competitions. I got certified as a personal trainer and took on clients of my own.
For the past ten years I have been personal training, developing nutrition plans and teaching group classes.
To me, fitness is more than just high intensity sweat sessions at the gym. It has played such a large part of my personal development over the years, acting as an escape and aiding me through some of the most difficult times of my life.
Every person I work with has a different story, but the best part of doing what I do is being able to help you create your own journey.
Let's create something badass.
